蘇聯衛國戰爭時期的一次重大戰役。1942年7月，德軍逼進史達林格勒(今伏爾加格勒)，戰役開始。德軍在遭受重大損失後，於9月竄入市區。蘇聯軍民浴血奮戰，與敵人展開激烈的城市爭奪戰。在消耗德軍有生力量後，11月蘇軍轉入反攻，並於次年2月全殲史達林格勒地區的德軍。德軍共損失一百五十萬人。此役是蘇聯衛國戰爭的轉折點，也是第二次世界大戰的轉折點。
